It is always hard to see someone take someone else’s life and then their own. That’s always rough. Chiefs fans: thoughts and prayers are with you during this tough time.
As Broncos fans, we too have lost players such as Darrent Williams, Damien Nash and Kenny McKinley. This scenario is always the very worst of circumstances for a player to no longer be on the team.
I may not like the Chiefs because we’re rivals, but in times like these we have to set our differences apart. Rivalries just crumble in situations like this and you have to empathize with the “enemy.” At times like these we are humans, and the death of someone in these types of circumstances is just sad. And, we are NFL fans and a tragedy like this is always heart-breaking.
If there is some kind of evidence from this that a head injury is to blame, the resulting investigation into the NFL will be very interesting to watch. Stay tuned for that portion of the resulting news.
